Grace and Kittens

We are looking after Grace, who was a stray brought to Cats Protection by the RSPCA. She's got 2 little kittens and they are all very timid.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get them used to being handled and bring them out of their shell abit.

Here are some pics

A few days ago, the little black kitten, who we've called Hannah, got a bad case of diaherra and was very de-hydrated. We took her back to the Cats Protection center during the day, and they hydrated her by injecting her with fluid every few hours. We picked her up in the evening, and Faith continued the injections,

Unfortunately she continued to be a bit poorly, so she has spent the last couple of nights at the vets, hopefully she can come home tomorrow.

Until then, just we've just got Grace and Holly,

and yes, Holly does always look this cute!

Goodbye Cherry

It's time to say goodbye to Cherry, she's going to be adopted by a lovely family.
It's been great having her and she really is a loving cat.

Next we are getting a stray cat called Grace and her 2 kittens, they are very timid, and need some tender, loving care.

Cherry - Our New Cat To Look After

This is Cherry, we've have been looking after her for nearly 2 weeks.

She came from a house where she was bullied by a child, the stress from this meant that she was over-grooming herself. To stop her over-grooming, the vets fitted her with the latest in kitty fashion!

It makes it difficult for her to eat, and she keeps bumping into things. Poor little kitty. She's really settled into our flat, and she is a very loving cat, always lying next to us and wanting cuddles.

Hopefully she can have her cone removed soon.

The Kittens Find A Home

I'm glad to report that the kittens have gone back to the Cats Protection shelter and they have all found home with lovely families. We were really sorry to see them go, but glad that they've found somewhere more permenant.

We'll be getting a new cat to look after soon, and we'll post pictures soon.

Splodge is fighting fit

Splodge has been on Synulox medication for a few weeks now, as she had a touch of pneumonia. However these last few days she's been much more active, playing and fighting with the others instead of hiding in the corner.

We took her to the vets to see if we could take her off the medication. The vet said she was in good health and commented what a cute kitten she is (which she is of course).

So, no more cough medicine for Splodge, here is a picture of her scaling the bookcase.
